From simulation to real homes.
Patricia is being built in deliberate stages: prove the behaviour in software, test it on physical robots, then trial it on real tasks with partners who can supervise the work.

Simulation
Behaviour is proven in software first, where a mistake costs nothing and an idea can be tried the same day.
- Working
Physical prototypes
Patricia runs on real mobile robots, so we learn what changes when a machine has to move through an actual room.
- Current focus
Supervised trials
Narrow, agreed tasks carried out with partners, where staff stay in control and can stop or take over at any point.

Everyday use
Assistance people choose to keep using, in homes and care settings, because it reliably saves them time or effort.
How we measure a stage as done
A stage is finished when the behaviour is repeatable, a person can supervise and override it, and the result is worth someone’s time. Demonstrations, safety evidence and partner feedback decide that — not internal milestones.
Timelines depend on partner availability and hardware supply, so we publish stages rather than dates.
